HOUSE BILL NO. 357 An Act relating to the redemption of shares                 
of certain Alaska corporations which had been held in second                   
reading (page 2727) was before the Senate.                                     
                                                                               
Senator Leman, Acting Majority Leader, moved and asked unanimous               
consent that the bill be advanced to third reading and placed on final         
passage. Objections were heard, then withdrawn. There being no

Parnell moved and asked unanimous consent that they be allowed to              
abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objections were         
heard and Senators Miller, Lincoln, Adams, Leman, Torgerson, Ward,             
Hoffman, Parnell were required to vote.
